Macclesfield’s oldest pub and a great atmosphere.
The Castle pub is located up the cobbled street opposite Macclesfield Railway Station. 25 Church Street. SK11 6HY.
What could be easier, if you’ve reached Macclesfield by train the Castle is a short walk away. Just follow the strumming sound.
It’s Castle night every Wednesday except the last one in the month. This is a more intimate setting than the Boarhound and it’s not long before the temperature rises and the uke players blow a fuse! They’re rockin’ into the night and the odd mandolin or harmonica adds to the heady mix. 8 ‘till late!
